Blue Mercury Courses:
The Blue Mercury team pride themselves with creating programmes to fit with the individual needs of each client. This may be group work aligned with NZQA qualifications; team development with or without management; individual coaching or specific one of programmes to cater for those specific needs. For example;

As our clients’ needs evolve so do the programmes that we run. We take pride in understanding and taking an interest in our clients business hence there are ongoing conversation’s with those clients letting them know about new and exciting techniques which may be useful for their specific business.
We do have three general courses which we use as a framework and evolve to fit the needs of our clients their systems, values and product. These are:

• Team Leader Development Level 3 and 4
• Lead the Way ( set up specifically for small business and not for profits)

The Blue Mercury team are accredited in Belbin Team Profiles and Belbin Team Architect. We are able to assist clients to use the many tools within this system. The reason we work with this profiling system is that we are encouraged by its focus on what we do well and playing to that strength on a regular basis to get great results.
Belbin can assist individual’s teams and businesses in a variety of ways.
Individual Belbins
These give insight for an individual on how they see themselves and how others see them. This can lead to better intercommunication and give that individual the opportunity for the individual to play to their strengths on a regular basis.
Through understanding how others see them a pathway may open around difficult conversations and how to work more effectively with others.
Teams
Understanding and valuing how we each contribute to a group
Understanding why some people annoy us and strategies around that
Understanding how the Balance of attributes within a group and how to ensure the group works together effectively. Understanding how to get back up and running if a team member leaves or is replaced
Getting the right Person for the job
This process takes about an hour and will give you a set of attributes that may be useful when looking for a new employee of team member.
This process also helped you with the words you should use in your job advertisements to connect with the type of person you are looking for.
